It's shopping time...for a preschool!
I'm not sure about how to feel about the bustling business of preschools now. Don't get me wrong, I acknowledge the fact that they are essential in the turbo charged developmental stage of kids. I just feel that it's one of those things that is difficult to put a price on.
CC, our toddler has been growing as fast as any toddler should. She speaks clearer, runs faster, understands better by the day, and her daily routine can only provide so much stimulation for a mind that is at its peak (scientifically proven!) in our little one's lifetime.
Sometimes, we want to keep things as is because who doesn't take comfort in routine, in predictability. I just realise that it is during toddlerhood, that both offspring and parents need to come to terms with the fact that while patterns make us feel safe, it is when we allow ourselves to be planted in new environments that we truly grow. Best thing we can do is give them a taste of home in their little lunchboxes.
